Yalumba 21 Year Old Aged Tawny is made with old vine varieties including Shiraz, Grenache, Mourvèdre and Muscadelle.

The grapes are fermented on skins for several days, then are fortified with a fine brandy spirit. The wine is then transferred to old French and American oak barrels to age.

Every year 2-3% of the wine evaporates, leaving a more concentrated wine behind. Various parcels are meticulously blended to produce a wine with an average age of 21 years.

A deep tawny colour, Yalumba 21 Year Old Aged Tawny is a sweet, richly flavoured wine. Dried fruit and caramel characters lead to a persistent finish.

Having completed its ageing in barrel, the wine is ready to drink on release.
